10 Minute Dinner For The Young Professional - Quick, Tasty, Easy, & Few Ingredients

Here's a delicious dinner that's quick, easy, and requires just a few ingredients you probably have lying around the house.

You get home from work and the last thing you wanna do is put a lot of effort into fixing up a dinner, however you're also sick of fast food and want something tasty. This recipe is something you can easily throw together in 10-15 minutes while watching tv or checking email after walking in the door from work.

Ingredients

  • Pasta In This Recipe Penne Rigate by Racconto (Pasta of your choice is fine)
  • Fresh Shredded Parmesan Cheese (Fridgerator Schreded Parm by CulinaryCircle is a fine alternative)
  • Grated Dry Parmesan
  • Garlic Evoo Olive Oil By Twisted Olive (Any quality Olive Oil will do, Garlive Evoo is great though)
  • Two Cloves fresh garlic minced
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper, Salt, Oregano
  • Fresh Loaf Bread

This Recipe is pretty straightforward and simple so here it goes...

Boil a pot of water, just before you get a rolling boil throw a few dashes of salt and a splash of olive oil. The olive oil keeps the pasta from sticking together and to the pot as well as adding some flavor. Toss the pasta in once you have a rolling boil.

Once pasta has only a few remaining minutes of cook time put some olive oil on an unheated pan and turn heat on to a simmer. Add a tablespoon of minced garlic as well as some ground pepper, salt, and oregano to taste. You don't need to cook this long, just 2-3 minutes.

When pasta is done cooking strain pasta. Add fresh shredded parmesan as well as dry grated parmesan.

Pour olive oil and garlic mixture over pasta and mix it up, the cheese will begin to melt as you mix this together.

Throw on a plate with a piece of bread.

***You can adds some lightly grilled zuchini, red peppers, or other vegetables to add some color as well as texture***
