1. Always select products that are over $150. Higher dollar items pay larger commissions. A very small percentage of people will buy. It will take 10 sales of smaller items to make the same amount of money one large ticket item will get you.
2. Always choose products with 4 and 5 star reviews. Don't choose low rated items. There's a good chance they will be returned and your commission will be taken back, plus most buyers look at reviews and won't make a purchase in the first place if the product has poor reviews.
3. Use text links instead of widgets. They are proven to be more effective.
4. Create review type blogs. This helps buyers looking for reviews, looking to buy, and is good for search engine rankings. If people can't find your links they can't click them.
5. Make your product images clickable. People like pictures, they like to see what they are buying. Most people are used to clicking pictures and being taken to more pictures, larger pictures, or the page to buy the product. For this reason you'll want your product pics clickable.
