Using Amazon as your Drop Shipper is a STUPID Strategy!!!

Those of you who read my blog and watch my Youtube Channel know I'm not a big fan of drop shipping. That said if you are going to attempt drop shipping at least find a true drop shipper and do things the proper way.

Many people decide to take the easy route in drop shipping and order items on Amazon and ship them to their eBay customers pocketing the difference.

So how does this Amazon to eBay drop shipping strategy work? The seller will find an item which sells on Amazon for less money than eBay. They then put up their own eBay listing, once an item sells they order it on Amazon and instead of having it shipped to themselves, they act as if they are ordering it as a gift and ship it to their eBay buyer.

This method has many flaws. First off it's against Amazon policy to use your Prime account for resale which is what most people employing this method do. It doesn't take long for Amazon to catch onto this and your Prime account will be suspended.

Other flaws in this method are that buyers understandably get annoyed when they order something from you and see a packing slip showing you just bought it off Amazon, marked it up $10 on them and had it shipped to them. I understand the argument of how is that different than me buying a cheap item from Alibaba ordering it and shipping it to my buyers but at least I'm putting in some effort, I'm having to buy wholesale, etc. For whatever reason this Amazon to eBay drop shipping annoys buyers who tend to feel taken advantage of. This leads to negative feedback and an eBay account which will be shutdown.

Lastly, this isn't as common but in the instance the buyer wants to return the item or you have a package lost in the mail it can often become a nightmare where your buyers are returning items to the Amazon seller directly instead of you or a lost package gets returned to the Amazon seller instead of you. There's many wierd situations which can pop up and leave you without money and without product.

Lastly, the biggest reason not to do this is at the end of the day Amazon is taking 15% in fees, eBay is taking another 13%, by employing this method your giving away 26% of your potential profits to wasted Amazon and eBay fees. You could make much better margins and make much more money just buying wholesale yourself and selling these items.

Watch the video below to learn why this Amazon to eBay drop shipping method is wrought with problems, a waste of your time and effort, and a huge risk to both your Amazon and eBay accounts.
