Complete Youtube SEO - Get more Views & Subscribers - Improve Retention

Complete Guide To Youtube SEO

Everyone wants more Youtube views and subscribers, but how is it accompliched?

Youtube really values viewer opinions and behaviors in deciding which videos to rank on the first page of searches, and which vidoes should get ranking and traffic.

A large part of this is viewer retention which means how long do viewers watch your videos? Do they watch all the way through or tune out after 10 seconds? Do they share the video with friends? Do they add it to their favorites or watch later play list?

All this helps how well you show up in Youtube searches which leads to traffic.

How to Publish Youtube Videos Regularly with a Busy Schedule

Are you a Youtube Publisher? If so you probably know that having a successful Youtube Channel is very dependent upon publishing videos regularly. Nobody likes a stale channel. If you don't publish regularly you risk losing subscribers who want new content.

But how do you publish videos regularly and keep your subscribers happy, as well as acquiring new subscribers when you have a busy schedule? Sometimes it's difficult to find time to publish regularly with the commitments of work, family, school, and more.

There are some ways to publish regularly such as making a lot of videos when you do have free-time so that you can publish them at times when your busy and don't have time to put out fresh content. Another strategy is publishing videos as private so when you don't have time to publish a new video you can just change that video to public, publish it and you have a new video when you don't have time to make a new one.

Should You Delete Low Performing Youtube Videos? Do Low View / Low Engagement Videos Penalize Your Entire Channel?

Many people often wrestle with the decision of whether they should delete videos with low view count or videos with a short watch time which are low engagement videos.

Making a comparison to Adsense, when you have low quality blogs or articles up it can wind up smart pricing or penalizing your entire Adsense account. Does Youtube work the same way? Can one video drag down your entire Youtube Channel? And if so should you delete low view count or low engagement videos?

The answer to this is yes and no. Low view count or low engagement videos do not penalize your Youtube Channel. Each Youtube video is treated uniquely and as a single video. You can have one Youtube video which is a loser and another Youtube video which is a solid performer and neitehr affects the other. All Youtube videos are treated alone and on their own merits.

For this reason there isn't a need necessarily to delete low view count or low performing videos as they will not drag down your channel. That said you may want to delete these videos if they are poor quality and detract from the overall quality of your Youtube Channel in your viewers eyes.

Keep in mind that when you delete videos you also get the historical views from that video taken away.

How Bloggers Get Free Products To Make Unboxing Videos

Have you ever watched Youtubers who make unboxing videos? You may have noticed that many of these Youtube Channels will feature video after video of a vlogger unboxing product after expensive product.

You may wonder, does this guy really spend $1,000 a week buying new laptops to review, or whatever product they may be reviewing?

Chances are they are not. There's a couple ways vloggers get free products to review. Some vloggers have relationships with companies who will supply them with a product to review or sometimes give them a free product that they can then review.

Other vloggers however will by products off of Amazon, review them and return them. Personally I don't care for this method as they are wasting sellers money and giving sellers headaches forcing them to waste time, money, and effort on returns just so a vlogger can do a review. This isn't fair and also drives up prices for the rest of us as sellers have to build in the costs of waste and fraud when pricing their items. Personally I'm not a fan of this method of reviewing.

Lastly, there's also many websites out there where vloggers and bloggers can signup to be connected to companies where bloggers and companies can work together to promote products.
